About Klesis
Klesis means invitation. It was the name of our life group, and now it's the name of this tool.
Why I built it
I was part of a life group called Klesis. That's κλῆσις in Greek, meaning calling or invitation. Every month we tried to put together group cards for birthdays, and every platform had the same problem: character limits.
We couldn't actually say what we wanted. Everything got cut short, edited down, stuffed into whatever fit. So I built something with no limit. You type what you mean.
The group eventually multiplied because it got too big. But the name stuck. It still fits. Every card starts with an invitation, and everyone who gets the code gets to show up.
How it works
1
Create a card
Pick who it's for, write a note if you want, and you'll get a unique code.
2
Share the code
Send the code to friends and family. They can add their own notes. No sign-up, no limits.
3
Open it
When the time is right, open the card and see every message together.
